Music has always been the most interesting form of communication to me. You can sit down with another person who doesn’t speak a word of your language, and have a genuine human connection through music.

Music has the power to make our differences feel smaller and to make strangers feel like family. It has the capability to elevate events into seemingly magical experiences that can deepen the bonds of a community. Even beyond any practical function, music is simply fun. It is a boundless source of joy and entertainment that is a crucial ingredient to any memorable celebration.

John Nichols is a Centerville High School alumni who graduated from the University of Miami in 2016 with a Music Business degree. From there, he went on to become the Director of the inclusion Music Program at Miami Lighthouse for the Blind. He also worked as a production manager for the North Beach bandshell, and taught music at a Montessori school in the Miami area. John has also been writing and recording music for the past 10 years, and is currently working on projects from his studio in Dayton. After working as a songwriter in LA for the past year, he returned to this area to continue developing his skills and building his repertoire. He is very excited to be working with Legacy Event Group and will bring his positive attitude and passion for music to any event he is a part of.
