DJ / AV Specialist
Music has always been a moving force in my life. Although I search to explain why it affects me so much, I really can’t describe the feelings and emotions generated by it. There’s always something new or interesting, while simultaneously relying on the familiarities that have already been established. Whatever the cause may be, music moves us, and we associate music with events in our lives. This is why at any event, I’m working my hardest to try and make the night the most memorable and fun.
While involved with choirs throughout middle and high school, I started DJing in a band with a group of friends. This is where I started getting into the art of audio. Starting on CD’s, I quickly moved on to classic turntables and records. Subsequently, I began to start creating my own music stemming from DJing and appreciation of music. Artists like Daft Punk and J Dilla influenced me to think of different ways of music creation through sampling and manipulating interesting sounds. Amassing a record collection of over 1200 LP’s, I still dig in crates for whatever deals I can find. Since joining Legacy Event Group, I’ve received my Associate's degree in A/V production and recently a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media at UC. I can’t imagine my life without music being a high priority, and I’m always trying hard to keep it that way.
Prior to Legacy Event Group, I worked in a music store and A/V rental company, but nothing compares to working for Legacy. I've been provided with skills in business, communication, and life as well as maintaining skills behind the decks. Our unique way of engaging with clients and ensuring a backup alleviates any unnecessary stress that would exist otherwise. We’ve worked everything out to make things go smoothly and ensure a memorable night for your wedding!
